If you find out that you've a newly added "My Webs" folder (or similar) be careful, it might be somebody taken control of your PC. I found out on one of my computers, which by the way was behaving very strangely. I've all kind of protections and firewalls and shit, and anyway, the little sucker was there. Don't know how the hell I got it, but 2 weeks ago I installed Outlook to check something and since I was installing everything I didn't install at first, I also installed FrontPage (I wouldn't normally install any of these craps, look what happens when you do). Anyway, you'll find that now you've some FrontPage virtual server installed in your machine. Did a search in google about vinavbar and it's a big bug in Microsoft's (go figure) servers

Well, dunno if it did any harm (I'm quite sure it did) but to hell with it, I promise the day they make PS, Fireworks and Flash for Linux I'll run away from Microsucks to never come back. If anyone has some info on this, more than appreciated (ie if there's a way to know which kind of activity it did)

This is not a security warning.

Sounds like you won't be happy with any OS if you DON'T RTFM!

Don't blame MS because you are clueless.

Don't install something unless you know what it does.

well, last time I checked OS are meant to make end users life's easier, they're not intended for Astrophysics Doctors, Mr. Smartass. and I know positively what Outlook and FrontPage SHOULD do, but not what they do on their own

Sounds like you really do need a dumbed down version of MAC OS or something.

Sounds like you installed PWS or some other type of server when you installed front page.

Next time RTFM.

OK, "Manual Warrior", then explain me why if I installed FrontPage at least 2 weeks ago this folder showed up yesterday. Maybe I cannot read, but there's no notice about it in your holy manual. But since you're so smart, I'd appreciate if you can enlight me, I still don't have the dumbed out Mac OS version

It sounds like you installed PWS and FrontPage extensions.

Not my fault you checked that little white box during install and didn't click 'details' to figure out exactly what it does!
