I'm in Bullhead, so I know 1st hand. Don't know how hot it was here today, I didn't even poke my nose out the door...but I DO know we had the a/c on full blast, fans everywhere, and it was still about 83 degrees in my apartment...I hate summer!

We were supposed to get record heat today and I dont think it ever happened. (maybe 112ish today) yesterday felt alot hotter then today..

Did see on the news though, 86 days since we seen any precipitation. I knew it had been awhile but I didnt think 3 months.. that sucks

I just watched the news and it said it was 121 in downtown vegas. (eastern and charleston). So my friend's thermometer wasn't off.

BTW, it was 133 in Laughlin.

And yes, today was the hottest day in vegas since 1995. Broke all the records.

I'd still rather be here than in Texas...the cliche about it being a dry heat is true. In Texas, stepping out into 97 degree heat was like walking into a scalding hot shower, with all the humidity. You'd be soaked with sweat and feeling grubby even though you just walked out of a cool house in clean clothing. At least here if you can get into the shade, it isn't that bad...
