i've seen it twice now in the Cinema. I made my husband go see it with me the second time. He is really hard to please when it comes to movies and he left the cinema mumbling about how great a film it was.

Don't go expecting to be cheered up but instead go to be educated and follow a great tale that is acted and directed wonderfully

I've seen it a few times on BA flights. It's very good, but for some people it might portray certain nationalities in a bad way.

However, if you look at the messages and the depth of it you'll see that it's just so pleasingly relevant to many of today's issues.

Everyone hates nazis cuz they killed a bunch of jews. People should hate them because they were socialist scum. The Pianist just continues to reenforce this bullshit stereotype.

The film was pretty historically accurate however it always makes me laugh to see how money grubbing jews are and how they can't ever defend themselves. Ever.

Can't say the film was boring at any time tho, which makes for a good one.
