Older BMW?

Im selling my car and buying something cheaper (cutting costs to make room for more projects)

Anyone here riding an older BMW? 1990 - 93 or even older?

Are they worth it? Do they break down, and are parts expensive.

Depends on how the car was cared for. But if it was well maintained they are pretty stable autos that can certainly hit the 200K mark and then some with only moderate repairs/replacements. There are plenty of bmw boards out there with tons of members who drive these cars and can give you alot of good pointers.

Dont get the 318. It's only a 4 banger. I would pay a little more or get a one which is a little older but with the 6 banger in it.

Bigger engine will last longer, more power, and you'll eat those ricers with a 325+.

http://gateway2.fasti.net/writeoff/ There is a pic of my 328i with lots of Dinan (http://www.dinanbmw.com) mods done to it. You have far more options to play with (upgrade wise) than a 318.
