Paysite owners - Have you ever calculated this?

Have you ever worked out your site(s) average monthly costs per member?

1) Average monthly bandwidth usage per member (average bandwidth used divided my average number of members)

2) Average monthly content costs per member (average cost of content updates (in a month) divided by average number of members (in a month))

I did it, and thought it's an interesting way of looking at your members. Economies of scale are amazing.

Nope. I never worried about how much members would cost me to maintain, and I was right because they don't cost much at all when you break it down on a per member basis.

I never bothered doing this until now.

Maybe you should pay your members instead of them paying you?
