It's not like it used to be in the good old days...... A domain name just isn't what it used to be.
Our first site was www.ls-university.com and everyone told us it would never get the traffic because of the long domain name and the dash. The average surfer doesn't type in domain names; They click on links or use bookmarks. On top of this, someone above brought up a good point - Vrigin records or Virgin Cola or Virgin Air might try to grab it, and I see a huge lawsuit there.
