My guess is that out of his whole collection, this is one he feels is borderline, it may or may not cause trouble later on. No point risking his business, better off selling it.

I have leased from him in the past with some success sending to sponsors. Id only do it again if I had my own paysites so I could control all the traffic.

Alexa is a very poor way of telling traffic & easy to manipulate.

I was thinking more along the lines of sending it to something like Her First Dick. One of those virgin's first time reality sites. Easy $50-100/day. But of course, if the domain goes for 50 grand, then it's not exactly gonna be worth it.

Of course, if you were gonna pay 50 grand for the domain, you'd be developing your own paysite, and not redirecting the traffic. :winkwink:

It's not like it used to be in the good old days...... A domain name just isn't what it used to be.

Our first site was www.ls-university.com and everyone told us it would never get the traffic because of the long domain name and the dash. The average surfer doesn't type in domain names; They click on links or use bookmarks.

On top of this, someone above brought up a good point - Vrigin records or Virgin Cola or Virgin Air might try to grab it, and I see a huge lawsuit there.
