I.F.R.A.M.E.S...who uses them?

I'm looking to feed in a lot of filler into my paysites and would like to keep it all in one location to make updates easy. I want to know if anyone uses them in their members areas. I know that old browsers do not like them.

Thanks

I believe that it is a IE thing, I'm not sure what the percentage is. But if it is a IE thing, I won't use them, cuz I use Mozilla most of the time!

I know that IE4+ and Netscape 6+ have support for them....i just do not want to piss off any members. I could do it with php includes.....just not as clean as using i-frames

I've had good results with a simple java parsing script.
I wrote my own, but here is something similar in Perl

There are many more out there, just search google.

Go with i-frames, only ancient and non standard browsers which can't read java, java-script and flash can't read them. Most of the time those people will have IE or Netscape installed and visit it again with that one.

I used them once...

Sales started dropping so I dumped them.

Be careful... this technology is great... but we are in the business.. we have the fast modems... latest browsers and so on....

Keep in mind... (a lot of you forget these things)... A lot of people are not as lucky or don't think it is important enough to upgrade like we do.....

They have the older computers, browsers... TECHNOLOGY

Just my

hmmm just created a site today using them. It wasn't a paysite members area. But a site for webmasters. I hope it won't be a problem with people being able to see the site. I didnt' even consider it when I was doing it. shit!
