Problem is, the majority of sites being listed on password sites don't have the money to fight it. Or it just isn't worth the effort and $$$.

but guys really I can understand taking down the 1st site because they were hotlinking and all.. but was the second site doing the same? if not leave them alone, if they are on a virtual server as posted, it will affect the other sites that are there too and the other sites certinaly didn't do anything wrong..

Dude it's not personal not many here knows who he is, how can it be personal. We wanted the porn pics gone that's it, the host took the whole site down, take it up with the host, that part was not us.

Then all the losers that got Necro's site in trouble came here posting away, so they got slammed.

We are not bad guys hell if Necro wants some licensed content for his site tell hin to send me an e-mail I would be glad to throw some legal stuff at him, it did not have to come to this:)

Defend what?

I came on this board to respond to - and get info regarding - a DCMA complaint I recieved while taking tech support calls last Friday morning. If you take the time to read said posts carefully, you may notice that I was actually trying to help. As such the matter was referred to our abuse dept and the site ended up getting pulled.

Where I stopped representing my employer and started representing myself is when a webmaster resorted to a personal attack on me - which I responded to, personally.

Simple as that - and all right there in black and white.
