How's your mood?

I had mood swings when I was on it.

The first week and half sucked but now I feel better than I have ever felt. My wife is the happy go lucky kid I fell in love with again. People can say all the bullshit about Atkins they want, all I know is I feel good and I am not craving. Even at its worst its better then having a threesome with Ben and Jerry everynight lol

Atkins has been ridiculed for 30 years. In the last few years, more and more mainstream health groups have acknowledged the benefits. Slowly, all the myths are falling ...

Read the book, get receipes from atkinsfriends.com. For this to work well you have to start cooking and kill all those fast food habits.

Yep, we're one dangerous cult! Every other Friday we meet at the local Masonic Lodge where we offer up bread as a sacrifice to St. Atkins.

On our high holy days, we make a spaghetti and pour it down our holy drain to prove our allegiance!

What is AMUSING are folks like you who take anything that someone believes in and turns it around as some sort of "zealot group" so you can poke fun.

Go ahead and have your fun. Make your jokes. For me personally, I'm just really too busy to give you much more attention on this issue because I have a healthy life to lead.

Gutter..quick..look over there..it's a large Danish with your name on it!

Could you be a tad more specific? What in your opinion amounts to "regular food."

It's not like we're feasting on seaweed here.

If you're saying you can't use ketchup because of the amount of sugar in it, I would urge you to try Keto's ketchup. It's priced fairly and damn..it's very tasty! I use a lot of ketchup, and I love this Keto brand. It's available in your local health food stores, not to mention on a gazillion websites on the net.

When training a hawk, you need to keep it hungry.

Tame your beast.

beavis, almost every grocery store has Estee brand sugar-free ketchup. It's got 5 total carbs per serving but you only have to count two of them because you don't have to count the sugar alcohol carbs. So you could have six whole tablespoons of it on a burger and only get 12 net carbs.

Plus, it tastes just like regular ketchup! VERY yummy.

Why tame the beast when I can slaughter it, grill it up to a juicy medium and chow it down while still keeping fit? Duh. Doesn't take alot of sense to realize that it's silly to do more than necessary.

You're so cute when you've got a tad bit of ketchup dripping down the side of your mouth!

Lost 20 pounds in 8 months without Atkins.

Used to be 200, just hit 179 a few days ago... Feel lite on my feet like a chipmunk on speed...

Want to know how?

That's great. I lost 30 pounds in less than 8 weeks with Atkins. 185 --> 155.

All this talk about meat reminds me I am mad at my girlfriend. She made me read "Fast Food Nation" and now I am not sure I can eat red meat again, but when I was on the atkins diet, I went from 220 lbs to this

<a href = "http://www.stephentakacs.com/photos/stephen-takacs10.htm"> me now </a>

Me adulterate steak with ketchup? You must have mistaken me for someone else. I'm a firm believer that steak is best with a little salt and maybe a dash of pepper. Nothing more. When I go out to eat I always ask the waitress if their steaks are marinated, and if they say yes, I order chicken.

That steak that Cypher is eating when he's in the restaurant with Agent Smith in The Matrix looks mighty yummy! Makes me hungry every time I see it! I wonder what cut that is. Looks like it's probably filet or sirloin?

A really good steak is like a hot chick... warm, juicy and pink inside.

Stupid typos. *sigh*

Congrats Tony404 and Centurion! I am working on my own weightloss website, lol. Atkins rocks. I've lost 58 lbs. in 10 months, and was able to stop my oral diabetes meds during Induction. My best advice: Stay away from the packaged stuff. No bars, shakes, etc. Whole foods are the way to go. Try wrapping your cheeseburger in a huge piece of leaf lettuce, you get to hold it like a sandwich, it's like In-n-Outs Protein style.

LC ketchup? Search LowCarbFriends recipe room for "Bruces Ketchup", it's better than the bottled stuff, although the Atkins brand is pretty good.

Hey there! Long time no.....well..no nothing!
You are one of the reasons I decided to start the Atkins diet..thanks to your encouragement when I was wavering as to whether or not to try it.

Thanks for the info & support then & NOW!
