No, this is CyberNet Expo in a nutshell: "Help! I'm in a nutshell! How did I get into this nutshell?"
(ok, if you are not an Austin Powers fan then you obviously think I have lost it  I know that I am just a newbie, wannabe in an industry full of larger than life people, but I thought the show turned out to be more than I bargained for. Was this show HUGE? No. Was this show PROFITABLE? YES...and that, my friends, is all that I care about. If you look around this industry now you will see that the days of the "money is no object" trade shows are gone. Everyone, including me, is now looking for an ROI on everything we do...and this is a good thing. I have to agree with what everyone has said on all of the boards that I have read....the shows are like anything else in life, you get out of it what you put into it. If you always remember this, you will never be let down. I would like to thank all of the sponsors who paid for the show, the dinners, the bus rides, the city tours, the suite parties, the photo shoot parties, the club parties, the girls (oh...WHO can forget the women in this town....WOWZA). I will not even begin to try to name them by name because I will forget someone and feel like shit about it later, but you absolutely know who you are and always know that I have love for you! I would also like to thank everyone who joined us at our After Hours party and for our nights on the town in the NatNet Party Bus. Long after we are all retired, I will remember weekends like this one as being some of the most enjoyable times in my life. good post bro! I agree with the ROI part especially. The economy is tighter now, our corps. all have to watch revenues and expenses closer now, but things will get better!! Oh btw, Your a newbie too? peace Todd

 Great seeing you agian T ! Great pictures ! If anyone was wondering what the big camera was all about.............. I was picked for a docu- soap, They follow a few people around for 6 months and film what goes on in there life. ( I am not the guy on the right in this pic ) That is Mark Prince and from what the newspapers say ................... he makes 5 million a year.

T, I'm sorry about missing your party. I wanted to nap off dinner and all the beer from the belmont stakes and slept right the fuck thru till dawn.

It was great finally meeting you SweetT! That after party you guys threw the last night was by far the best event of the whole show. Even planning stuff at the last minute, NatNet is always a class act and doing a teriffic job

i want to thank Sweet T for coming through once again, with a memorible event. He always seems to do it!
Some times I almost give up on that Hillbilly, but i have to tell you - he is improving. Sheeesh he must have given almost 12 hours notice this time, up from the 4 hours last show; and must have booked his suite about a month in advance instead of calling me about 3 days before the show. Shows me that there is hope for everyone! Love ya - ya big teddy bear! |

Alas, Tony, Jeff and I have taken a vow of silence and will not name names. However, guesses are encouraged and the true owner is welcome to come forward Hungryman, thanks for the kind words. We had a blast seeing everyone again and meeting new friends! Zebra, 2 am pizza was a godsend! Man we were desparate...and how we withstood the temptation of 30 girls and 61 nipples (is that right??) Rick, we all missed you and the Consumption Junction crew. Jman and I did our best without you, but it was truly difficult...you just can't skip any more shows, period. JFK, I await your pictures with some hesitation...a camera can be a dangerous thing. Of course, I want to thank Sleazydream...whose business cards provided a valuable and needed service to everyone.
