I picked up a box at the LWI datacenter yesterday.

Apparently a lot of the COLO boxes were left at the old datacenter..

They pretty much brought only the dedicated clients to the new datacenter, from what I gather.

I know a couple of COLO guys whose boxes were brought over and a few who werent.

Those who were had bought their boxes from LWI, so LWI probably had no way of knowing they were COLO.

anybody know where the new datacenter is?

Thanks for picking up my box. I was about to go crazy last night and start doing stupid stuff which would have gotten me in trouble until Biggy stepped in and drove 50 mins to go pickup my box.

Also would like to thank Moe from realitychecknetwork.com for driving all the way out to meet Biggy and get my server from him. He then checked to see if everything was fine on the server. Now all this happend over night between 1-5.

So I am really thankfull to the both of you.

Ya know it really doesnt take that much to run a data center, you need 4 things in order of fucking importance.

1) Clue
2) Power
3) Environment
4) Bandwidth

It seems likewhoa has less than 25% of these requirements.

When I picked up the box last night, I was talking to Sergio in the lot..

Firstly, there was never a minivan driving around, they just used it to transport the boxes i'm sure.

Sergio told me they didn't move a lot of the COLO boxes since they knew those customers would be most likely to jump ship, so those boxes are still at 601 W. 26th Street, New York, NY.

The COLO boxes that I know were moved were boxes bought from LikeWhoa, which makes me think they didnt know if they were COLO or dedicated.

So i'm guessing if you're COLO and you bought the server from LikeWhoa, its probably at the new datacenter - if you built/sent your own servers to LikeWhoa, they are probably at the old datacenter.

The new datacenter is located at 275 Hartz Way, Secaucus, NJ and I believe LikeWhoa is releasing servers, at least I managed to pick one up last night.

Sergio also told me they had a couple of racks online and were working hard to get more racks online.

I would be concerned if you are a COLO customer who sent in your servers to LikeWhoa, cause chances are your server is just sitting over at 601 W. 26th Street.

Hit me up on ICQ if anyone needs me to pick up servers for them.

most COLO servers are at new datacenter. LW releases servers on terms of all balance due is paid, you can arrange which servers you want to move with me or Nick, then Nick arranges equinix authorization to move equipment out of their facility, rest of colo servers are going up.
like you i want this done yesterday so everyone including myself could go on with our business.

everyone trying to reach me for the past few days, i will get back to you whenever i can, - i know this doesnt sound right, pls allow me more time.

Yep some virtual accounts like mine are up too now. Nick seems to be profi at this, he just charged my CC for another month few minutes after the rest of sites I still haven't moved somewhere else went up :mad:

Did it come up with the same ip etc or did you have to get new act info to get in....

but all domains were still on their old IPs

cause if so you have lost your mind,

this is the second time they lose there servers and have to move,

the last time, was oh about 2 and half years ago,

and well, I hosted with them after that fucked up,

and I left after repeated downtime,

look when you are down for more than a day, or something,

and its not explained by routing problems or hardware,

then get the fuck out, there is no reason ever to be locked out, turned off, droped from your provider, or any of the crazy shit like whoa gets in to,

they are dead beat liars,

I have 1 full day of downtime and I left, that was like 5 months ago, the last time they fucked up

I really cant beleive they still have customers and even after this, they will still have customers,

open your eyes, they are liars and thieves,

PS, call visa adn tell them you lost your card, and they will send you a new one,

dont let likewhoa bill your ass,

they got colections on me but they will never see a dime,

they owe me money for the damage they did to my business,

PS when you leave them they will tell you what they really think of you, and lay it heavy on you,
