I just found this on another board and thought it was rather humorous all things considered.

"What I learned in law school was that being a lawyer sucks and producing adult videos does not suck. "

What the hell kind of law are they teaching you, Sobe, that you would resell content for months without a very explicit written contract?

Every lawyer I know is meticulous to a fault when it comes to recordkeeping and contractual based relationships. They don't rely on "Everyone knows I sell content, so when I buy content you should know I'm going to be reselling it" types of arguments. They can pull every license, every contract, and every agreement they ever made out of their ass in 3 seconds flat.

I seriously wonder if anything you've ever said is true at this point.

:)

Please continue.

We have no involvement other than I know both parties involved and I think they would both be better off to get it resolved off the boards. Don't you? Or do you NEED you soap opera for the day and vulturing off of other people's misfortune?

He was at law school, he was the janitor. :1orglaugh

Sorry LadyMischief but this thread is getting funnier by the post. If these two guys had a brain cell between them they would not be in this mess.

Hope I don't screw up and that statement returns to bite me in the arse.

Assuming the guy is still in business, still alive, still talking to you, they "are" legal, not had a fire, not lying, had them in the first place, in the same country as you, governed by the same laws.

One thing Eric was not, was a lawyer, these guys do not give out advice that will put clients into jail.

The UF college of Law does not have majors and minors. There are dual degrees such as MBA/JD or LLM/JD.

I think we all know the lesson here. Neither AMA or SoBe know what they are doing. They are unprofessional, and working with either of them would be a big mistake.

It's simple: How much risk do you want to take that the hardcore videos you have on your site, of young girls, are totally on the up-and-up?

(Note: I don't see either of these guys as competitors. They sell hardcore mainstream porn videos, I sell softcore nude photos. So I hope it doesn't sound like competitive cynicism.)

Anyone thinking of buying content from SoBeGirl
should read this thread carefully :2 cents:
