Fried brain in the heat today, Just can not make up my mind what to eat as a late dinner.

i'm always a big fan of fettuchini alfredo with grilled chicken. or chicken romano. i dunno if you ever made it before but it goes something like this:

pound and de vein your chicken breasts
cut them in half
make your batter mix from eggs, a splash of lemon juice, and parmesian cheese to tighten.
a good rule for adding the cheese is about 1/3 a cup to 3 eggs because it should thicken more when you let it sit for a second.
flour you chicken then cover in batter
in a frying pan on medium heat melt butter or heat oil and then saute chicken.

or just call pizza hut.

If I was working in the heat all day the last thing I would want to do is cook let alone eat a hot meal. Turkey sandwhich sounds good to me.

I cook nearly every meal I eat. Its kinda my obsession, and then I am overly obsessed with the quality of ingrediants.

As for Pizza hut, ummm no. I refuse to eat any franchise pizza.

i can understand that. the only reason i order out half the time is because i refuse to wash dishes. and i cook 40 hours a week so i never really feel like doing anything involved to feed myself.

OK, if this is a recipe board here's my favorite thing in the world: Bread Pudding.

Tear up about 10 slices of white bread (stale is ok).
Add two cups of milk, one cup of sugar, two eggs, pinch of salt and nutmeg to taste.

Melt about half a stick of butter in a casserole and swirl it around. Pour in the bread mixture. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

Bake at 350 one hour.

Tastes sort of like French toast only better.
