I feel this one. For tools I only need sometimes, I try to cancel right after signup and put a note to renew manually if it actually paid for itself. Recurring billing is useful, but the customer side feels better when reminders and cancellation are clean.

Hooooooooly fuck being this poor is so fucking ridiculous

I'm setting up my kid's art area while they are with the grandparents, and it's this big wood platform for all of her art projects and it's going to be a huge surprise I've been working on!

But to finish it I need to go get one last thing, and it's a round trip of like 100 kilometers, but with $100 to my name, the fucking drive is stressful as shit because, if, somehow, my vehicle breaks down, I literally have no money for a tow or a taxi home or anything. It fucking sucks knowing that if my car breaks down, I'm fucking FUCKED, other than that, life is so fucking good in so many ways... but this financial pressure is beyond fucking stupid. Literally anxiety-ridden because all I can think about is "what if my car breaks down on this drive" instead of the fucking joy of building something for my kid and seeing the look on their face tomorrow when they come home!

I guess I'm just going to fucking cross my fingers and pray nothing bad happens and I make it back from this drive!
