Yesterday, after meeting with a new client, I saw this store called "Game Crazy". (Video games).

They were looking for help and being a big game fan, I went to apply.

Had a great interview until I hear the words....

Are you willing to cut your hair?

I ask, if I were a woman, would you ask this of me?

The answer... no.

They said that Hollywood video was the parent company and that is their dress code policy.

So, I said, fine, I will put a dress on and you can call me Susan. Then walked out.

I have worked for some pretty large company's with my pony tail. I cannot believe that in the year 2003, a company, one that sells video games to kids... would ask this of someone.

I am asking now for everyone to boycott Hollywood video and use Blockbuster... their prices and selection are better anyway.

No, I agree that making money is great... but it's how you make it that counts... if making money means putting good people in a bad situation then NO, it is not worth it.
