Netflix?

So whats the word on em?

I heard most people say they are good - but I hear others saying things like Netflix gives priority to trial customers, and / or people who dont rent as much.

I signed up today to see how it goes.

They kick ass. I was with them 4 months and they were always amazingly fast, even after the trial. I also tried the Wal-Mart version of NetFlix, they give a full month free, BUT they were REALLY slow compared to NexFlix.

1/3 of the movies I get are scratched so bad I can't even watch them.

But I think they do regional. Not worth it in the NE.

I have been using Netflix for about 4 months now and havent had a single problem. The movies are always ontime and I havent had one yet that was scratched.

I would give them two thumbs up.

Awesome. I think I've had 1 bad DVD in 50+ received. No biggie since you can have 3 out at a time anyways.... The only issue is if the movie has a separate DVD for 'special' features, you have to request it separately.

I had used them for about 3 months, and only 1 dvd arrived damaged. They're pretty quick, too.

My experience is :

The online selection shows only a fraction of movies available.

For new and popular movies you sometimes have to wait 2 weeks to receive them.

5 out of 45 DVDs had scratches so bad the movies stopped playing or just would not play .

Delivery is excelent when they have the movie in stock.

Useful if you travel a lot as there is no set return date as with Block Buster.

Block Buster or similar company would probably be cheaper if you only rent 4 or 5 movies a month

I've been with Netflix for around two years, now. I don't think I've ever had a DVD from them that wouldn't play at all. Everything goes pretty smoothly with Netflix. Just make sure to send your DVDs back as soon as you watch them so you get your money's worth.
