My statement was just an example of "fact". I am not a liberal and I don't have any problem with the way the election turned out. Do I think the smarter of the two is in office.. nope. Do I think that GW is a good president..nope. Would I rather have Clinton..yep. But none of that is important..I was just trying to teach Miss Canada 2003 a little bit about how we elect a president down here.

Only difference is that here we are force fed some american history along with our canadian history... although sadly our schools are now focusing more 'n more on canadian history (why, there is a whopping 200 years of it! whee, enough for one semester) and starting to exclude the rest of the world. You do realize Bush won on election night and all the recounts. If Gore was president, we would have a president elected by the courts. Not the other way around.

The supreme court should have not been involved, but the banana republic florida supreme court made up soley of 7 democrat justices overstepped their powers.
