Stupid????

FACT: The U.S. Public DID NOT elect George W. Bush. The popular vote was in favor of Al Gore. It was the antiquated electoral college that elected George Bush. It was the senior Bush cronies on the supreme court that prevented further investigation into the irregularities in Florida that also elected George W.

So.. WTF this.. more americans voted for Al Gore than for George Bush.

What part of this caused your.. "wtf...howstupid!"?

Its not americans hating canadians, its canadians always preaching about how great they are. Instead of being humble and just knowing they are a great country, they feel the need to constantly tell the world (and especially americans) that they are better than everyone else.

Did I say I hated Canadians???

I love Canadians!! In fact... tomorrow night I am going to pop open a beer (probably a japanese one) and sit in front of my big screen and watch the canadian team kick ass in the stanley cup finals!! Oops..wait..that was last year...oops..the year before? oops, the year before that? Shit...hang on..I think I am going to have to go back about 10 years. Damn...and I was trying to make a point.

Please....really... stop while you are behind.

Al Gore received 48.39 percent of the vote.
George Bush received 47.88 percent of the vote.

George BUSH did not receive half of the whole fucking country, he did not even receive as many votes as the loser of the election. He did however win the electoral college.

I know they don't teach shit about Canadian government in U.S. schools but I thought the canadians were more enlightened. At least that is what I am told over and over and over and over. I would think that if the freedom and security of our country depended almost solely on our proximity to another country, we would learn how they elected their leaders..eh?

I guess I was mislead.. eh?

Smart guy? Me? Sorry, but I don't reach your high estimation of me.

well 47.88 is close enough to half the country. And if he only had 2 percent he would not be leading right now. That's why I'm saying he was chosen by half of your country! Simple as that.

For me, I don't "hate" anyone, and the "thing" is on that list.

A more accurate description is that I totally despise the "thing" and his "friends". It is a very thin line tween being both negligent and criminal and this rogue operation have already stepped over.... Time will tell more...

You can SAY whatever you want. You can SAY whatever you want as many TIMES as you want. It doesn't make it fact.

For example, I can SAY that my cock is 12 inches long. I can SAY that over and over. As many times as I SAY it, it does not make it fact. The fact still remains that my cock is only 9 1/2 inches long.

The FACT is that George W. Bush DID NOT receive more than 50% of the votes. He did not even receive exactly 50% of the votes. In FACT, he received LESS votes than the loser of the election.

You can't argue with facts.

I think the point the person was trying to make is that a significant number of Americans voted for Bush.

Herein lies the problem:

If the number of people that voted for Bush is significant, that makes the number of people who didn't vote for Bush, and the number of people that voted for Gore, even MORE significant.
