wireless sound system for mini-dv
Increasingly, I am not satisfied with the audio I am getting in our mini-dv shoots. The cam mounted mics work ok, but when someone speaks from across the room or the camerman moves out wider, the audio volume sucks.
Some of this I fix post production, but what I am ready for I think is something better. In particular, guys usually have booming voices and it hard to hear the girls. So I am looking for a nice wireless system that has at least 2 to 3 mikes, and can be distributed to 2-3 movie cameras, also. That way I can attach a lapel mike to each of the players (at least while they have something on, haven't figured out where to stick the mike later) and in theory get even audio all over the room. Anybody tried any systems and have any feedback? |
