Data Transferring
I have two systems, they are not networked, Both have USB ports, anyway I can take about 40 gigs of stuff on the one and put it onto the other? I want to avoid burning it to Cd's just cause it will take forever

Considered a null-modem?

Can't you take HD from the first one and put it to the second one?

If your two systems are sharing an internet connection through a router, I'd setup an FTP server on one of them. Have the other system connect to the FTP (using the internal IP address assigned by the router) and voila.

Null-modem is the way to go, I got a cable at a Radio Shack about a year ago for something like $20 and it has paid for itself at least 50 times by now. From laptops with broken CD-ROMs to shit computers without CD-ROMs or Ethernet, null-modem always works. I even transferred data from my old Atari XE and STE computers with it.
It's slow as hell though so be ready to leave shit running overnight or even a couple of days.
