Selling Car, need pricing help - GoFuckYourself.com

I own a 1996 camry LE (4 door) 2.2L, 4 cyl., auto transmission, that has 165,252 miles on it. It has a fair sized dent in the drivers side front wheel well fender from a hit and run accident, it was estimated at $1000 damage to repair, it has some transmission problems (it shifts hard from 2nd to 3rd), dont know how much it would cost to fix that, it also has some minor dents and dings on the roof from falling limbs. Other than that its in alright condition, i change the oil and check everything else regularly.
What are some good sites to get a fair estimate for how much it is worth?, or from personal experience.

some manheim auction sales for this car... so will give you a good indication... retail you could sell for like $3,000, $4,500 if you got dent fixed, maybe.. wholesale, $2,000

you'd be lucky to get 2k for it-I have a 93 camry in good shape and it's not worth 1k to a dealer

private party around here with the basics is $3500. that's the basic default options w/4cyl. so, that could differ a bit.

i'd say you're looking at a private party $2000 car. dealer is going to probably hit you first pencil somewhere around $500-800 i'm guessing, not seeing the car.

in his case he needs more than glue and touch up paint . The problems are pretty obvious unless the idiot doesn't look at the vehicle or take it for a test drive
