I am stupid - I need some help - GoFuckYourself.com

Here is the problem,
I am on dial up. I just upladed a big chunk of pictures on my host and it took me over 10 hours. Used CuteFTP for this.

The problem is, I have 3 domains. How can I copy the same folder with images to all 3 domains?

Any help appricated, many thanks

are they hosted from the same provider? under the same account username?

If all 3 domains are on the same server, ask your server administrator to "make a symlink" from the real images to where you want them to appear. He'll understand.

Can you zip or tar them, or .. if your sites are on the same server, just ask your host to move them for you?

They are on the same account,
when I log into the FTP I see them as directories

domain1.com
domain2.com
domain3.com

I cant hotlink between domains so I must have the same directory with pictures under each domain, and I don't want to bother the host, plus it's sunday now. Any way to do this? I am good learner, I can learn anything :>

telnet to the server

then, cp directory where images are /where u want them

or you can have a symlink created

either will work

What's wrong with "bothering" the host? He has a job to do and that's to satisfy the customer.. you.. he won't mind and it will be painless and quick for him to do.

hi,

try it with FXP. i don't know if cuteftp supports fxp, but flashfxp (www.flashfxp.com) does. it allows you to connect two ftp-sites and juggle files between these two sites.

he can use flashfxp, but only if his hosts ftp allows fxp ....
