It most certainly does.

You have to know your outs and you have to be patient. Chasers always lose in the long run. Texas Hold'em is a folder's game.

Personally I'd change that to online Texas Hold'em is a folders game. It becomes almost a different game in real life especially against skilled players

Online or offline, I really don't think Chasing is a winning stratedgy. You can buy pots, yes .. But chasing low straights to the river seems to be a uniquely online expierence.

Party Poker does seem suspect... The first time I deposited, within an hour of playing I had 55 in a pot against 1010 and AA... Flop? 5 5 10.

That shit just doesn't happen at a casino.

Chasing is fine if you have pot odds...

Ofcourse there are programs there, what are people expecting? It's a lot of money going on there. And as we all know, money talks.

All these flops are also controlled, there's no such thing as random luck on Partypoker. Do a check up on google which some pretty solid proof about this bot issue from Partypoker staff

Whoever said it was? However, offline you play the pot odds far more thsan online. If this is against decent players then you can pull off something like a 'semi-bluff' with a decent chance that they will fold and if they don't that the odds are still in your favour. Try that online and 50% of the time some twat will decide to go all the way with you holding a piar of 2's or a 9J and get lucky on the flop. That's just one example there's plenty more.

Again - online, yes it's a folders game. If you have any skill then offline it's a TOTALLY different thing and folding every average hand will not get you the big money in the long term.

Party poker is very very suspicious. The first hours I played with real money, when I put little money, I used to win my bets with medium pairs. But as soon as I had some better hands, like 3 of a kind of 5, I bet a little more, then all of a sudden "someone" had 3 of a kind of jacks. Now tell me how many times does it happen to have 2 people or more having 3 of kinds in the same pot, especially the same day I deposit real money. I lost quite a few other hands with some, I should say, AMAZING badluck. Losing with pair aces, straights, two pairs...yes it does happen, but not all in a such little time. Not to add that I have over 16 million in play money, so I know how to play this game.

There was a bot exposed a few weeks ago: SAABPO. His strategy, while simple, actually profits on the low buy-in single table tournaments.

Trust me here. I make a living playing at Party Poker. Every time I see a fish suck out on someone -- including me -- I am ELATED. It's good for business. The "luck" factor in hold'em reinforces crappy play for crappy players. Over time, the better player ALWAYS takes the money.

BTW I play 30-40 single table tournaments per day. It takes discipline and zen to get over the bad beats, but you have to believe in the long term.

I use a spreadsheet that keeps track of everything for me.

Poker in General is EVIL.

Down $2500... bad beats happen anywhere, online, at the casino.. you name it.

My suggestion is to only play cards if you can easily afford to lose cash. =)
