Whoever said it was? However, offline you play the pot odds far more thsan online. If this is against decent players then you can pull off something like a 'semi-bluff' with a decent chance that they will fold and if they don't that the odds are still in your favour. Try that online and 50% of the time some twat will decide to go all the way with you holding a piar of 2's or a 9J and get lucky on the flop. That's just one example there's plenty more.
Again - online, yes it's a folders game. If you have any skill then offline it's a TOTALLY different thing and folding every average hand will not get you the big money in the long term.
