i remember when i was caught without a broadband connection... i refused to use dial up. i'd rather not see the internet at all.

hahah, i remember when i was younger, and all the rage was at 28.8 or whatever, and i went to visit family. well, i was on a bbs a lot then, so i wanted to get on. all i had at my disposal was an ibm pcjr and a 300 BAUD MODEM. lol, i literally watched my email come in LETTER BY LETTER. great times.

haha. brings me back to my dad's 1600 baud modem (good old tandy).

surfing the newgroups was sloooow.

you would watch each character being typed out individually on the screen. good times.

unfortunately i have to head back to deadmonton soon to do some banking, check on my condo, etc. Sunshine's last day is the 19th. it's fucking snowing like crazy right now.

but i plan on coming back to Banff by June 1st...

move to oregon. mt hood has longest season of any ski resort in north america(yes longer then whistler)

parts of blackhome are open 365 days a year. the horseman glacier. snowboarding only.

i'm building a vacation home in the BC rockies. purcell mountains, heliski capital of the world. i love it here, i'm not moving anywhere.

iv been contemplating a move to BC. im from washington, currently in texas, but im a dual citizen (american/canadian) just dunno about all the hastles of moving across the border. got a lot of family still left up there.
