is pure hell.

i've got just under half a gig to upload, and it's fucking trickling.

i remember when i was caught without a broadband connection... i refused to use dial up. i'd rather not see the internet at all. :glugglug

I've been there before & I feel for ya.

I was stuck with 26,400 baud dialup for a year and a half, only got back to broadband last month.. I feel your pain.

hahah, i remember when i was younger, and all the rage was at 28.8 or whatever, and i went to visit family. well, i was on a bbs a lot then, so i wanted to get on. all i had at my disposal was an ibm pcjr and a 300 BAUD MODEM. lol, i literally watched my email come in LETTER BY LETTER. great times.

i'm in Banff, and no longer in at The Springs. decided to rent a place out here for the summer on a whim.

i have 'high speed', but it's a joke. unbelievably slow. i'm calling them on Tuesday to have it upgraded to whatever the fasted account is.

will have to suffer till then...

i lived on shit speed for the first 3 years that i was online, now i use it once in a while elsewhere, and i fall asleep at the keyboard.

A few months after I got married we found a kick ass house for a great price. I told my wife we weren't moving if they didn't have high speed, luckily they did. I CAN NOT live over shit internet.

unfortunately i have to head back to deadmonton soon to do some banking, check on my condo, etc. Sunshine's last day is the 19th. it's fucking snowing like crazy right now.

but i plan on coming back to Banff by June 1st...

how long is the season?

move to oregon. mt hood has longest season of any ski resort in north america(yes longer then whistler)

parts of blackhome are open 365 days a year. the horseman glacier. snowboarding only.

i'm building a vacation home in the BC rockies. purcell mountains, heliski capital of the world. i love it here, i'm not moving anywhere.

iv been contemplating a move to BC. im from washington, currently in texas, but im a dual citizen (american/canadian) just dunno about all the hastles of moving across the border. :( got a lot of family still left up there.
