I've used it when I had to for random jobs and company things, but there are a ton of other apps that you can use instead that do the same thing. Telegram, Whatsapp, Signal, Skype, etc, all do the same thing for me. The only difference is which one the company tells me to use.

Zoom has certainly stolen Skype's thunder. I made a ton of money about 20 years ago selling mobile logos and ringtones. It only worked with Nokia phones, but back then they had about 50% market share. Look at them now.

There was a big drama lama about what's app sharing user info to facebook, think in the end it was not implemented due EU laws, but damage was already done.

I didn't have my phone with me.... Unlike most people, I am not a slave to my cell phone. It was fun to have the waitress recite the entire menu to me..... twice.
