No I hear ya man, I dont touch those ricers but my buddy has consistently gone 9.30 while leaving the head gasket at the end of the 1320. Just nature of the beast. Believe it or not the Japs did not engineer for 30 pounds of boost on there straight six.

yeah, see that's the problem. 30lbs of boost. the car is stock with what, maybe 12?

i've never seen one with a supra, but maybe try and find a copper head gasket, and overtorque just a little bit.

The proble lies in the bore spacing. Thats the issue. Hes been using the copper gasket for some time now. Who knows. I know my 598 inch never eats a head gasket. Gotta love big inch american muscle

I don't think his car is in the low 8's. I think smoke is puffing out from his ass.

I love Fords - but no fucking way would I buy this as anything other than an investment (maybe enough will crash and burn so in 20 years it will bring a good return). I love the look of this car, but it's easy to get right now. And it won't run 100G's, either.

Sorry, but you can build/buy a reproduction of a GT40 (yup, a "kit car") that will piss all over this thing, for a hell of a lot less money. Not positive if they still are around, but as of a few years ago, the original aluminum body manufacturers were still selling the fucking things, too - so even if you didn't want a tubular steel frame and other goodies, but just had a hard on for the aluminum bodies, you could always drop in a worked engine/trans and do something about the brakes, too.
