I got bit by one on the finger yesterday. It was in a towel I had wrapped around an ice pack I had on my head for a migraine. I spent some time trying to figure out what hurt worse. :1orglaugh It was a VERY small one and after about 1/2 an hour there was some numbness and after 2 hours, you couldn't tell what had happened, but when it first got me, I thought I had cut my finger on a piece of glass or a needle from somewhere.

We have TONS of spiders. I learned a long time ago to check before I head out the front door. They spin webs all over the cars, patio furniture, stairs, etc. And we have lizards. And deer, raccoons and bears. :winkwink: And a couple of times a year, the lady bugs come and they get EVERYWHERE. Then there are the wasp, hornets and carpenter bees, hehehe.

But I have a deal with my critters - they don't hurt me, I don't hurt them. Needless to say, the scorpion got smushed. :thumbsup

I HATE spiders! When I was 7, I read "Charlotte's Web" and decided to adopt a huge spider that was living in my basement. I didn't tell my parents but they found out when her egg sack hatched in my hand and I was bitten by about 100 of the little fuckers! They had to take me to the emergency room and I've never suffered a spider to live again. I see it, I kill it, it's the only creepy crawly I'll kill without question.

I had to ream my boyfriend out for shooting a black snake the other day. It had a hole too close to the house and was getting aggressive. The black ones keep away the rattlers and copperheads. A rattler bit the neighbor's dog the other day, all the hair has fallen off his ass. I know it's not funny, but it is....

I live by the lake in middle TN, so there's lots of bugs, snakes, spiders, ect around. I do like the lizards, I have one who lives on my back porch, I call him Wizard the Lizard, maybe he'll eat all my bugs this summer while I'm chilling in the hot tub taking calls.:Graucho

ooh that's a nasty looking spider. What I wouldn't give for a video clip of Amp dancing around trying to keep the steady stream of raid on that fucker. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Well, here where I live there are spiders, snakes, scorpions and roaches. Snakes don't bother me too bad unless they're within striking distance (because we have lots of poisonous kinds), roaches are ok as long as they aren't anywhere near my house, car or anywhere i'm eating or buying food, spiders are tolerable as long as they're on the bottom of my shoe that's not attached to my foot and scorpions are the spawn of satan sent here to do his evil bidding. I've woken up before when I was at the lake house and had one stuck to the fucking wall about three inches away from my head and my bed was pressed up against the wall so that really sucked. Seems the little fuckers really like blackjack trees and this state is covered in those. Fiddleback spiders a.k.a. brown recluse are pretty common too. One bit my daughter on the leg while she was in bed and we took her to the ER she had to get a shot right in the bite spot and then 3 days later either the same spider or another one got her in the same spot again like it could sense that she had been bitten there before. Although I really enjoy spiders when they get my husband cornered and climbing the walls and screaming like a girl for me to come kill it. :Graucho
