How To Make 30 G's A Year From A Shaving Sponsor?
I always said I'd share this trick a year after when I no longer need to use it, and it's about that time.
Are you using a sponsor that you know is shaving/stealing sign-ups? Here's how to make money from the theives? Send them fake traffic (the old image source trick) Since there giving you sales when they feel like it (at random). Send them fake traffic (hitbot) and they'll give you sales without you have to waste your real traffic. *Note this only works on shaving sponsors I found a few, can you find some? Some people will say I'm wrong for posting this, and that I'm wrong for having used this at one point and time. But hey a sponsor who shaves is a sponsor who steals.

Escort Biz, I have to strongly disagree with you...
I'm not the type of webmaster to tell you about what my friends did, or what I saw somebody else doing one time. I'm talking to you about what I did, what made me 28 G's in a year, from 0% real traffic. Now ask yourself, why would a sponsor give me sign-ups and for fake traffic? Did I find a hole in the matrix? Or were they just randomly sending out sales to people who sent decent amounts of traffic? Without actual tracking? |

I'm not really trying to produce the "proof" that could result in a lawsuit of some sort..... I'm not your average messageboard webmaster.. I don't talk about just to talk about it... My whole purpose for this post is to help eliminate some shaving sponsors, I had a conversation with a webmaster this week and he was expressing his hardship of sending quality traffic to a sponsor that was converting at 1:2000 for him... In the ebony niche, they're aren't many options.... I've seen people stick with a shaving sponsor just so they could see "SOME MONEY COMING IN".... I feel like a webmaster deserves to see all his money coming in.. Not just being happy with the 50% of sales that a dirty program manager feels like paying you for. I know I speak the truth, so I don't feel like I gotta go out showing proof from 2000. |

Shaving means only crediting a certain percentage of your signups, not crediting an arbitrary number of signups.

The game was over, evidently they stopped shaving or figured it out. My account is still open to this day though.... I don't feel like I need to expose the sponsor.... That was 2 years ago There are people who actively try to get webmasters to their shaving sponsors right now and even on GFY I've heard, and hopefully this will make it harder for them to shave and maybe get them to discard their bad business habits and start paying webmasters correctly |

Platinum, maybe an equally valid alternative interpretation of your facts is that instead of shaving, the sponsor is giving free signups to webmasters who, at least according to their tracking system, are sending traffic but having no luck with signups. Basically, it incentivizes them to stay with the program in addition to paying for actual signups by webmasters who are able to convert.

You could kind of imagine this working, but the sponsor would have to be so full of shit it's unreal.
They would have to have given up any sort of real attempt at measuring aything but affiliate hits and sales overall for the program, possible I guess with some smaller operators - the adult industry is full of shit in general so possible. |

This is a stupid thread??.... No sponsor is going to credit you with a sign up that never really happened. They may (and do) shave sign ups that did happen, but no way they will credit you any sign ups when none really happened.

I would make damn sure the person you plan on defrauding with your fake hits and fake sales is cheating you because what your talking about doing is illegal. And hit bots and all that shit doesnt work on the big programs anyways.
I dont see how any major program could shave signups anyways. We are trying everything we can to get as many signups through to our webmasters as we can. I cant see how doing the opposite could benifit a company who is in this biz for the long haul. The notion that companies shave is old news and may have happened back in the day when everyone converted 1:100 on shit traffic and members stayed for 6 months. But not now... Signups arent as easy to convert. |

Agreed, serious programs like silvercash who are in business for the long haul have always appreciated webmasters and run good businesses...
I simply ran across one of the scammers of the early internet era.. I'm not proud about my actions, but age 18, when my classmates were settling for $5.50 an hour at burgerking it seemed like a great idea I've promoted Silvercash since I became a "professional" webmaster and always saw good results, you run a good program. And I hope you can understand the decisions of my youth |

I was just suggesting against all that stuff. Webmaster fraud is one of the largest contributers to lowering of payouts. We deal with so much fraud everyday its crazy. I mean we seriously delete 10 accounts daily for fraud. Thanks for the comments on SC |
