Another reason you should never rely on any one sponsor or any one host, etc.... I was only getting 1 or 2 signups with ND per payperiod. I have contacted ND and I am waiting for a reply just wanted to warn you all that you can get an email like this at anytime from any sponsor so make sure to spread out your traffic to a good assortment of sponsors - thank goodness I do!

Funny how I was sending NastyDollars the same traffic I send to my recurring sponsors and I am not experiencing a "high instance of credits and or chargebacks" with those sponsors -- in fact my traffic recurs like a bitch...

See this is my point from the other thread.. When you're a bigtimer and you have a lot of money you just do not care about the small timers. You put all small timers in the same scammer category so if one does something bad and you need to close his account this bigtimer will not care to even talk to him because again they put ALL smalltimers in the same category. Although this has never happened to me, I know how it goes.

yes it is strange considering I've had this account for months and sent signups to a variety of their sites. The only thing I can think of is my account met some sort of threshhold out of plain chance and they don't consider the # of signups an account sends in their decision-making process - oh well.. c'est la fucking vie...

I agree... we will see if they respond to my email. They could just be doing some housecleaning regardless of the number of sales an account sends. I still have 2 other active accounts with them, does this mean I can't send traffic to those accounts either?

I send my 1000s sign-ups elsewhere. But tell you this, this is a small filtered part of the same traffic that goes to my other sponsors.. one of which I know for fact has a CB ratio of 0.52% besides I got the same traffic sources as many other hotshots on this board ofcourse

I was going trough affiliate programs terms to learn more about how things work in sponsorland and the first thing that caught my attention is that some have almost no rules and some have a whole lawbook full of them.

It seems webmaster have been fucking sponsors and sponsors have been fucking webmasters back and fort for over 5 years now.

I am curious how this will go on/end and in which form it will still be profitable for both.

A other question I have is who landed the first punch.Who started this love/hate relationship.Webmaster or sponsor?...and more important..who will trow the K.O

I'm surprised your account was nailed with the smaller signup numbers, shit you would have to think that in order to be killed for a High CB ratio on 2 sales a period, that those 2 sales consistantly Charged back. Might simply be an error on their part, and if so im sure they will answer you in a timely fashion. I think it's safe to say whether Big fish or Small fish no sponsor likes terminating accounts, and would probably wish to avoid it, unless ofcourse the webmasters ways (cheating etc.) are as blatant as fuck.

It's not so hard to have a high chargeback ratio with 1-2 signups per week.
That's max 8 signups per month - so if just 1 of them chargeback that's a 12% chargeback rate on your traffic. Makes it look really bad because of the smaller numbers.
Whereas if someone's sending 50 signups per pay period and 2 people charge back, it doesn't raise any flags because the percentage is lower.

Funny that you can still access your account though - maybe they were hoping you wouldn't see the email and would just keep sending them traffic thinking things were normal.

That's yet to be determined, no? Another on of the big players *say* they will pay you out, but the check never comes and emails aren't responded to.

Besides - if they're chargebacks, why should they pay?

a) I sent them search engine traffic looking for "tits" as well as people looking for "paysites". I am thinking that the surfers looking for paysites are a bit more knowledgeable and cancelled as soon as they saw the ND members area. I have never seen the ND members' areas myself, are they any good?

b) I was using a minimal amount of their content.

c) I was not cheating. But I did have an international address on the terminated account . Where as my other still active ND accounts that I sent the same traffic to have my main Canadian address. Maybe they termed me based on that. Who knows.

Still have not heard back from ND yet. Not holding my breath though.

I wasn't gonna argue with you yet I'd say this is the same traffic my other sponsors could die for. Same traffic ND gets from many of their big hitters.

VERY WELL SAID....

In the future I think we will see more and more sponsors get more selective about the traffic being bought... For example, Just a few years ago, most sponsors would accept celeb traffic, yet after a few lawsuits, many don't allow it anymore... VISA/MC also pose a threat, and if you are only sending 1or2 signups a month, it doesn't take much for your signups to kick over the chargeback threshold...

Affiliates are selling traffic to Sponsors and sponsors do have the right to buy, or not buy, traffic from whoever they want...

Nastydollars was standup in the fact, that they are paying you for what you sent up to the time they decided to terminate the partnership...

Everyone who thinks they were cancelled unfairly will have their account investigated and if proved right, will be re-instated. We had to do some house cleaning to get rid of the cheaters. Everyone was still payed.

I just got "Terminated" too. The only site I was promoting from them was Cum Fiesta. I decide to take a look at the stats of a recurring site I promote who is 1 of their competitors, to see how "Bad" my traffic was. Heres the Numbers for the last year-

Sign-ups- 512 Rebills- 620 Cancellations-3 Chargebacks 0

Funny thing is , that this is exactly the same traffic, I am sending to Nasty Dollars. Really makes you wonder...
