What % of cancel discounts are accepted? I just turned them on a few days ago and not one has been convinced to stay a member...0%..is that about normal?
when they go to cancel i just offer them $5 bucks off the monthly.

Offer them a selection of sites that what i do.

Yeah $5.00 off is not much of a deal. I can imagine you will not see very many at all take that deal. I have seen in the past others offering $15.00 to $19.95 for a monthly membership to multiple sites when the regular monthly rate was $39.95.

To get them to stay on your gonna have to really make it worth their while. Otherwise they will just cancel away.

On the other hand this practice is training surfers to cancel and expect a discount instead of staying a member at the regular rate. As well as members that cancel when they can't afford it and come back regularly - you'll be training them as well to expect a discount.
