What is your outlook on 2020?

I haven't started a thread here in so long... will be interesting to see what you all think 2020 will have in store for you and for the biz.

What is your outlook on the industry? Positive or negative? More consolidation and buyouts? More shakeups? New product trends?

What about your outlook on yourself? Often times if you can control your mind, body and overall health for the better, most everything else should follow. None of us are getting any younger but now that I'm in my 50s, more than ever is keeping my physical self together a priority.

Go...

The industry will continue to shrink as more find free porn is better than paid porn.

Models will either go the route working independently with sites like Onlyfans or have a career in stripping and escorting to make up for the limited earnings from companies producing porn.

Affiliates will rely more and more on Dating and Cams as independent models can better promote themselveson social media.

Good original content still rules....many sites are making good money (including ours). But recycling old shit or creating new but crappy content will eliminate the recyclers, the shitty producers...and the solo models. Content was, is and always will be the King

...if only the fucking e mail worked better

This is true. The problem for most are the skills required to shoot quality content at a profit. Some sites manage it and yours is one of those.

The problem for most is the ROI today sucks for most.

Like slapass I'm glad I made my money in the good times.

Most people will continue their downward spiral because they fail to adapt to current trends.

I still talk to people on an almost daily basis that don't take me seriously when I tell them that most people visit their websites on a phone.

Thanks ...But even we had to change....comparing to 10 years ago, we shoot in 1/2 time and at about 1/4 budgets...yet still it is profitable business. Our ROI 60 to 90 days/ film. We have movies 15 years old still generating revenue. So why change ...?

My business will grow by leaps and bounds this year. Especially if I add an affiliate program.

I will pay more attention to the vitamins I need from food and try to balance them.

Definitely going to travel more. Going to Memphis on Tuesday and Puerto Rico on the 29th.

I mean how could someone not believe that? All you have to do is look at web stats and you can clearly see that mobile dominates all other platforms.

Tubes will get even more traffic because of the young becoming the older group and not buying memberships to view content.

A small amount will be earned by girls doing their own thing on lower budgets, promoting, editing, camming, in some cases hooking, etc themselves. But it's a small market that wants that type of material and even if it were bigger no affiliates or companies except those offering platforms for them will take anything from it.

The winners will be the companies with their own large Tubes, or close liaisons, who can produce a product the consumer really wants to pay for. It will be around 1-10,000 so no one is getting mega-rich off it.

I am very sorry to hear this.

We are all getting older and health problems are becoming more common, with both industry people and my friends. At the end of the day... The only two things that matter is your health and your family.
