Physically Van Damme... Segal sems bulky and slow.. Stallone is short and has tiny legs... I don't watch a lot of action movies but I think Van Damme overall looks physically stronger, lighter and quicker... as for technique I be more interested to know what the martial arts experts think about what actors are really the most capable fighters...

Seagal only legit martial artisit (Akito), lived in Japan, only non-japansese man that has his own martial arts studio there.
And was a former troubleshooter for the CIA, or Special Ops...dont know which.

VanDamme knows nothing...he was a ballet dancer who could kick...ask Chuck Zito if he knows any real martial arts...took Ol Chuck from "Oz" fame 2 shots to leave ol Muscles From Brussels sprawled out on the floor.

Stallone...he has been boxing cheesburgers, and fighting bad bad movie roles lately trying to make it back to somewhere near the -middle- of the pack in Hollywood. Oh good, Rambo 4 plot is finally done...who wants to see that?!?

Van Damme is all but muscles. Is an semi-expert (nothing more than that) on Karate and Kick-Boxing.

Seagle the top man (The 1st) to bring Akido (not Akito) out of Japan.
And yes like CMS-101 saied he's the only man having a Dojo in Japan, and in China.

Of course there is a huge difference between Akido, Karate and kick-Boxing, but since Seagle is an expert on the subject and Van Damme a simple semi-professional, you cant compare the two.

He was visiting my trainings gym with some movie trainings guy my trainer knew.

Michalis Zambidis started from my hood and at the age of 23 is already a 4th world champion. He fights now at K1 and there's no fighter to stop him. Honestly he is a killing machine and could stand even against heavy weight pro boxers with no major difficulty. Although his dimensions (167cm height and 69.0kg weight) can trick you, he will bring knock down within minutes or even seconds much heavier pro fighters.

In terms of fighting, I guess I'd grudgingly have to agree the Seagal would win.

In terms of movies, I have to go with Stallone... at least he's made one or two quality movies (Rocky 1, for instance).

actually Segal just married a Japanese chick who already had a studio, that whole story is a myth. ALso the CIA thing is bullshit. Just about all the action stars are full of shit except for maybe Norris, he trains BJJ for the last several years. He was full of shit before that.
