- reduce or remove search time, with so many posts, it really hard sometimes to find infos quick.
- notification for new threads posts not working or getting stuck

PM's are soooo extremely low amounts, and sucks having to clean house on them because sometimes knowing our history in chats/pm's helps for future.

The reason for these settings is because the board was getting hit with scripts all the time.

zenforo looks to have the same basic problem as gfy - no high thread management.

there's decades of valuable info here in these hallowed halls of gfy, but you can only find it by doing a search and then digging thru pages of threads.

its a basic problem of all boards and social networks. posts need to be curated and indexed.

maybe gfy is small enough now to test some real solutions.

It's only if you buy it as a SaaS or Subscription it cost $200 a month. The product is free if you run/install it yourself. It was the core product in most SIEM solutions I configured 7-8 years ago and keeps getting better and better.

Agreed. Any competent developer should be able to get Elasticsearch running on the server without much issue.
