They had to trade him once they decided to go with Jackson because Flacco would have
either asked for a trade or gotten an offer anyway. So better to trade now with the upper hand. |

Good for Baltimore, not so good for the Broncos. It seems like the Broncos are trying to reload for one more run at the playoffs before having to go into rebuild mode. I don't think spending that kind of money on a QB is going to change much for them. As a Raider fan, I'm happy to see them make, at least what I feel are, bad moves.

is Lamar Jackson really on Flacco's level? I only saw Jackson play a few times and he didn't look good at all. I know flacco is getting up there but he's still only 34.
