Wordpress 5.xx - DA'FUCK???
So we have over 600 wordpress blogs and I have been avoiding the 5.xx "upgrade" for awhile now. But you have to try new things so I installed it on one of our blogs.
Holy fucking shit!!! How in the fuck can you fuck up something this bad? Did Microsoft buy Wordpress? Jesus fucking Christ this shit is bad!!! Sure... I thought they fucked up with the menu back in like 3.4 or something. But, as it turns out, they were right. No fucking way with the new editor. It is fucking dog crap. 4.xx had an editor where things were spelled out. It was intuitive. 5.xx editor is fucking lame. I have used their editor so I know what to look for and kind of where it should be. I had to hunt for shit. Posting took extra time. Will it be less once I learn this new system? Fuck NO!!! Why? Because now I have to click extra clicks to get to something. The admin menu change was nice because it removed clicks. Now shit is fucking dumb. No offense to dumb people. But this shit is seriously fucking dumb. Time to work on a plugin to restore the old editor. Rant over. Thanks for your time.

I'm sure the 'block editor' works for someone. I have yet to meet them.
Why they did not make the block editor a plug-in is beyond me. The folks making the decisions must not do more than word processing. Messed up a storefront site. without pre-warning and even just a few 'how2's' beforehand... |
