I received an email today from sender /A/P/@tyche.ch asking me to update affiliate payment information. Origin of the email server appears to be mailer.tipalti.com DatingFactory.com makes no mention of this email and I'm suspicious of any emails asking for sensitive information. Can someone from Dating Factory please confirm it's legit?

Tyche name mentioned on their payments when they pay you by bank.

There's no question that Tyche is the holding company behind Dating Factory, but the email contains an encoded link to the 3rd party site tipalti.com. It's not a link to DatingFactory.com Email senders can be spoofed. It's like someone calling on the phone, who claims to be from your bank and then asks for your confidential information. How do you know who is really asking for the information and who you're giving it to?

Tyche Technologies AG is the parent company of Dating Factory.

Asking the actual company is always a great suggestion.

The reason for that email from Tipalti is because they will be taking over payments as they provide advertisers with local banking wires for Affiliates worldwide and have been chosen as the best option for affilite payments.

Dating Factory had to look for Tipalti mainly to pay American Affiliates, as these days more and more European banks are having issues with payments coming and going into the US.
