Dealing With Sleep Paralysis !!
Reading a thread form the other day about ghosts and shit, the stories about weird shit happening, it made me remember about what it used to be like whenever I would get sleep paralysis.
The first time ever being about the most scary thing I have ever experienced in my life. Had it a few times since, but eventually they didn't get as bad, and In a way it was probably because I kinda knew it was happening. Still, that first time though will probably never be forgotten. Feeling totally trapped and as though someone was in the room trying to kill me Been a while since the last time... Likely due to happen shortly again now that I've mentioned it....... |

I get sleeping paralysis usually when i take a nap during the day. It's the scariest shit and it's probably playing a good role in my insomnia

And I thought that looked like Britney Spears. Where is it from? Crossroads or what? At first I thought it couldn't be her but then again she strips down in all her concerts and videos, so why not here? Goddam she's hot. B

I was kinda hoping Dildozer would answer this one. Hard to explain to anyone who has never experienced the shit. For me anyway, It's when I have been in the middle of a sleep, something wakes you up, but you can't move or interact with anything. First time for me, I tried to shout out for others in the house (thats how fucked up i was) but nothing comes out. You mind is awake, but your body is still sleeping !! Yes, that's it..... |

Don't really know why one would bring on the other.. Then if I'd try to just go back to sleep, I'd get this wild fuzzy buzz feeling in my head.. kinda like a tv station that's off the air.. Haven't had it in quite some time fortunately.. There's all sorts of info on it if ya do a Google search on it.. |

I get sleep paralysis too. Fukin freaky as hell, something that will stick with you forever. i usually get it when i over sleep or take a nap in the day or when I sleep when i"m not really tired. Mostly about Aliens and the last one ...don't laugh..it was about this crazy Giant dog in my room. I have learned to cope with it now i am aware when it happens as it happens so a tell my self to wait it out cuz it goes away quite quickly.

I've never got that sleep paralysis shit, but I think I might have got part of it. Sometimes when I wake up in the morning I can move my arms, but it takes like 3 seconds before they actually move, and when they are moving I cant stop them or anything. It's quite amusing.

I get it as well...
After years of thinking that I was fucked up...my doctor and me talked about it. He said its not normal but he has heard of a few cases of it. I also suffer from extreme insomnia and he wanted me to do a sleep study. But I was like its pointless, I cant go to sleep at home what makes you think I will sleep in a Lab... And yes I do get a feeling that someone else is watching or there is a presense when I am having sleep paralysis. The weird part is something could be going on in the room, and sometimes you dont notice it.

I usually start seeing small shadow creatures flying around me in after 4-5 days of constant working, very exciting. Makes me wonder what more is out there ;)

The very first time I had sleep paralysis was scary as hell - I remember waking up laid on my side and my eyes were fixed on the wallpaper beside my bed, I couldn't even move them, I was having a dream about a murder at the same time and couldn't go back 'into' the dream or come out of the sleep into the 'real' word either, once I figured out what was happening and did a little research it stopped being scary and now it feels interesting - unless it goes on for a long time....
