Bounce rate and average time on page are nearly the same, with or without the pop.

Google don’t have guts to send them notifications what they send to us. They have pops and will keep their pops and google will give them top rating in serp. Discrimination

Yep that's right, which is why Google has gone to blocking all ads on sites that aren't compliant. Come February I think there's going to be a lot of webmasters crying because they didn't do what is needed.

They will get exactly the same notifications, but let's face it, PornHub don't need Google as much as smaller sites because of a massive referral network and brand awareness.

I removed all popunders from my site and all my other ads having "google ad compliance" turned ON on ExoClick and google STILL says my ads are misleading after another check. What a shitty corporation.

I have compliance turned ON since month. Lately only turned off popunders. Ads code for compliance on/off is same. The change is only on exoclick ads serving server scripts. Yes, I must contact exoclick.

The review video will tell you what is wrong. Last time when we submit site for a review... it was decline bcz of popunder not related to ads from exo... google compliance ads was on. You need to check which type of exo ads you are using.... push notifications and normal banner and messenger ads are google complaince from exo.... any other ad are risky

I didn't say they didn't need Google, I said they don't need them as much as most other sites. If they got temporarily de-indexed or pushed down in rankings because of a problem they would have no problem fixing the issues and recovering. Google has penalised big sites before.

A smaller site that is a main source of income for a webmaster wouldn't be able to survive a de-indexing or penalty as easily.

The same, here exoclick google compliance function is just a joke, across all their ad formats.
Ad zones and sites get flaged, no mather if you use that function, or not.

Support is totally helpless and asking me for hours of programming and changing codes, to implement new class and trigger functions, into my site.

If chrome blocks sitewide ads (including revshare links) in february, the use of ad companies will be a risk that is not longer worth go.

Now you're just trolling.

All I am saying is that Mindgeek would be less affected by a Google penalty than your average webmaster.

So it's important for webmasters to fix their Google issues before you get penalised or have all ads blocked in Chrome.

That’s why we small webmaster compare to Mindgeek crying and scared of doing changes because revenue will go down but keeping all fear one one side we have do the changes to get chrome compliant, simple is that....

We have to do nothing!
And if we started earlier, Google would not have the monopoly it has today.

Whats next no animations or color on ads?
Did they really believe i will spend 2 days, to ad my sites to their webmaster tools?

The Google boat i sinking and that can be compensated for years, only by their own exscessive ad abuse
and the exploitation, of their monopoly position.

A video preroll ad is not an in player ad. An in player ad is like the pop ups that will comes up during a video.

Are plugrush 'adblock safe' popunders still ok to use?

I see there are settings for:
Activate on clickable content
Activate on any click
Turn off popunder

I have them all set to Activate on clickable content.

I turn off ALL ads for review, get "safe" status, and turn almost all on again (besides popunders) - we will see how long it will last

yeah, from what I heard many people just turn off ads for review, once they get OK status, they put them back... they review sites only once and that's why those manual reviews are BS and won't work. ads on sites change CONSTANTLY, if they don't find any agressive ads while their review, it doesn't mean they won't be there tomorrow... or in an hour etc... it's just BS... they would need to review all sites CONSTANTLY, again and again... pure fucking BS... nothing will change.

maybe depends on the site... they are probably targeting higher traffic sites... I don't think they will review millions of sites repeatedly.

From the other hand, it would be to easy - get pass one review and being safe forever... I'm afraid reviews will be reoccurring, but with different intervals for different sites. And after not pass the review, some time of penalty (for example 30 days).

The problem is I still don't know if vast pre-rolls are safe or not and I don't know how to interpret the fact that sticky ads can be max 30% of screen. If sticky is fixed to 300x250, the percentage will be vary for different screen resolutions. For example, I have still many mobile visitors with 480x360 resolution.

Mine was nearly in realtime.

It mentions pop up adverts, not popunders.
