$8.95 USD to withdraw to Australia using EFT. That's the same amount as it costs to process a foreign cheque at my bank.

Considering Ruth hasn't replied to my emails as promised regarding fees and MasterCard withdrawals not working it will be interesting to see if I get my remaining $30 AUD out of the account.

It started off at $105.73 USD

Then dropped 44.95 USD for a card I didn't receive.

Then dropped $30 USD for being idle while I couldn't withdraw by any means.

My remaining $30 USD becomes $30 AUD after the 8.95 USD withdrawal fee.

So $150.07 AUD becomes $30 AUD after fees.

Maybe Paxum might consider refunding the fees but I won't hold my breath, they can't even reply to emails when they promise to.

That's not an entirely accurate description of the situation...

The $44.95 USD card annual fee was charged for a card that was already in your possession. It was the 2nd year annual fee. There will be no refund for that.

We have full disclosure on our website of our fees and we clearly list that account maintenance is free unless there is no use for 180 days. We also announced this fee when it was first implemented. You did not use your account for 180 days and therefore you were charged the fee. There will be no refund for these fees.

I replied to your email a second time a short while ago. I had assumed that when I first responded to your email on December 20th to tell you I'd check into it that you would give me the necessary time to do so. Unfortunately the timing was a little delayed due to the holiday and a weekend in between.

I'm a bit confused about the OP and the announcement that was emailed. It makes it sound like EFT to Australia is a new thing, but a year ago Paxum offered EFT withdrawals to Australia...until suddenly they didn't.

Why should I believe this time will be any different?

At $8.95 USD per EFT and a (much) worse exchange rate than the banks it's probably better just to get cheques sent from sponsors and bank them locally. That's what I've been doing since it became obvious that Paxum is useless.

I am saving a lot of Wire fees now. More than $300 saved for monthly wire fees alone.

In the past incarnation of EFT to Australia, my withdrawals arrived as a RTGS payment, which I think is basically an inbound EFT transfer. No extra charges assessed by the bank. But that was in 2017...

You mention that your bank charged you a fee, and you took the time to take a screenshot of the deposit, yet there doesn't appear to be any fee listed for this deposit on the screenshot you shared. To me it looks like you received exactly what you requested, and quickly!

We are successfully sending EFT in AUD (and all other supported currencies), and we have sent much more than just one AUD EFT since it was implemented.

Yet we have not heard any complaints from other AUD EFT recipients of any excessive fees charged by their bank... you appear to be the only one affected.

It's a shame that you seem to take every possible opportunity to try to denigrate Paxum. I hope the New Year brings you some peace so you can focus on more important things in life.

It's a Telegraphic Transfer, can't you read? It's not EFT, it's a TT from Interpay Limited.

USA business clients can withdraw their funds by Wire Transfer or by ACH Withdrawal. We do not support external credit card withdrawal for USA and we have no current plans to make any changes to that.

i don't have either, i was one of the first to receive the trucash card but since they changed the limit and paxum announced that their new "real" paxum card will have higher limits i am waiting for it.

i know that the temp cards are real cards, i have one of those.
but you know what i am talking about since you announced the next cards as "real" paxum cards, with real i don't mean that trucash cards are virtual cards or whatever.

Considering Ruth hasn't replied to my emails as promised regarding fees and MasterCard withdrawals not working it will be interesting to see if I get my remaining $30 AUD out of the account. It started off at $105.73 USD Then dropped 44.95 USD for a card I didn't receive. Then dropped $30 USD for being idle while I couldn't withdraw by any means. My remaining $30 USD becomes $30 AUD after the 8.95 USD withdrawal fee. So $150.07 AUD becomes $30 AUD after fees. Maybe Paxum might consider refunding the fees but I won't hold my breath, they can't even reply to emails when they promise to.
