god is like a security blanket for adults...a coping mechanism for people who are weak...you bow down like a dog and beg an imaginary friend in the sky for a better deal in the next life or in this one...completely counterproductive for any realistic solution to your problem...
later in life I understood this better, I got hooked on star trek...an alternate reality life in space that I believed was possible...a better future for mankind in space where we work together and leave all the silly shit we do on earth behind...I know its not the same as religion, but it gave me hope...it was the spice that made my life more tasty... I guess I can not judge...if somebody needs an imaginary friend in the sky, who am I to judge? I had the entire crew of USS enterprise  |
