It's good for city ride, good handling, easy maintenance, good fuel economy...
I want to buy Fazer 1000 or R6 though |

since ebus posted his stoppie pic....here's mine. I was practicing in an empty parking lot with my ex taking pics. I thought I was getting it higher....but oh well. I had a friend break his back right in front of me on a group ride, so I quit trying to stunt all the time. ![]() Ebus - awesome jacket!! Akira - get the new R6! |

In fact I have saved $11.500 and the new R6 is around 10.500 Euro which leaves me pennyless hehe Right now I have the already shown Suzuki Gs500 which for city ride is great but on highway tops on about 90 mph (145km/h) Anyway, I don't have a car, and the bike is only a joy ride, so I can't justify spending all my savings on a bike right now...but I sure will buy either R6 or Kawasaki Z1000 or Bandit 1000 in the near future... Great looking bike btw, I like the 2000-2002 R6 models more than the 2003, don't know why, maybe it's because of it's black engine? |

the 03 looks pretty slick, but I also prefer the silver engine and swingarm. Plus the 99-02 have both headlights on, while the 03 has one side on for low and one side on for high. It makes it look like one of your lights is burned out. Symmetry is always more attractive. |

No bike, but I do play with this:
Honda CBR600-F4, RWD, 380lbs dry, custom intake/exhaust & EFI, MoTec engine management. Frame, suspension & brakes all custom. For its SCCA class it must have a 20mm flow restrictor in front of the throttle, which limits the output to about 68hp and 42ft-lbs (peak). Very wide & flat torque curve, on purpose, because it is meant to autocross. Few courses require more than one or two shifts per lap. The thrust curve would make your eyes pop. Not the most spectacular numbers power-wise, but it is overall 10lbs lighter than the bike it came from. 0-70mph (yes, 70mph, not 60) in 3.28sec, 60-0 in ~85 feet, recorded 1.4Gs on skidpad. It's a wild ride.

and not that "little" 748 The new 999 is BUTT-ugly if you ask me, but the engine is pretty cool. Ducati have one of the best sounds - I like the old ss900 sound the best. It would be perfect If they didnt have that "dry clutch" noice . sounds like the engine is falling apart when the bike isent moving |
