Do you believe in God? Do you follow a particular religion?

Personally I think its a load of crap, I live in the 'holy land' and there aint nothing holy about it - as far as I'm concerned religion is the root of all evil! Millions of people have been butchered over the centuries in the name of god and it still goes on today in so called modern societies.. religion is baaad mmkay?

Theistic religion is the ultimate form of idolatry.

When a Christian tells you he believes in God, all he's really doing is taking his opinion of texts he usually has no scholarly understanding of and is not qualified to translate or interpret, and deifying them.

If there really is a God, those who try to usurp it by deifying their personal jumble of predjudices, opinions and feelings have far more to fear than the non-believer.

Well I would say that religion has everything to do with god..

from the dictionary..

No they don't. Dictionaries are descriptive, not prescriptive. They describe how words are used most commonly, not how words should be used in different contexts.

I assume what you are trying to say is that if there is a God that God does not necessarily have anything to do with religious organizations or denominations...but of course that is based upon your own individual perception/belief.
