Basically, a self-correcting self-funding system where each browser does a 'micro-transaction' that is paid either with funds (not likely) or processing power (much more likely)? Distributed. Hack-proof. Can't be fucked with by The Man...

Can even use the self-verification system to cut down on piracy.

Just brainfarting out loud. I've been extremely fascinated with blockchain tech since it has so many possible uses....

Do you think there would be demand for such tech?

What I have in mind is an ecosystem where participation forms some sort of 'currency' that keeps the system alive and incentivizes people to participate.

That's what I find fascinating about BLOCKCHAIN, it has a built in incentive system for nodes to process and propagate

I always bring up filecoin in these kinds of threats and it always gets ignored. Maybe people don't realize they had that largest IPO in cryptocurrency history?

If I am not mistaken Kodak has announced an intention to do exactly that for photographers/videographers in the mainstream

Barely. Growing up, everyone I know had a parent or two who worked for Kodak. Today, I know exactly ONE person.

Was thinking of flying my drone around the HQ building today. Now I just might have to.

I just finished writing a book on blockchain for a client and its crypto implementation does it no justice. It truly is the 'killer app' of this half-decade. The possibilities are just mind blowing
