FYI 10 million acres of California forest has burned in the last decade. California produces 1% of global c02 at 481 million metric tones. Were California to replant the forest, that would reduce 13 billion metric tones of co2. Something to consider.... were we to plant green spaces, make water features in our cities, git rid of black surfaces in the cities we would drop the temp 15 degrees F... just sayin...... you know?
