Rabbit foot keychains we're popular for good luck and cutting off a dead crows foot and making it a necklace was to ward off bad spirits. I did this in California when my kid was little and showed him how to cut the foot off, sterilize it and make the necklace. Here's a pic of one for sale on Etsy, with a real crows foot, so you know it's actually a thing




Where I grew up pretty much every wild animal with four legs had a pelt price, so that's what you thought when you saw a raccoon, fox, beaver, etc.

Yeah weird when you think about it to have a dead rabbits paw in your pants. I can still remember what the rabbits claws felt like through my pocket ugh

In Australia I got a couple of these cane toad change holders. They have a huge cane toad problem in Australia so they kill them and make money off the bodies.
