Lets not kid ourselves. GFY was always this way ,there was just alot more business going on at the same time. I remember posting in threads asking for a monthly fee driven webmaster forum in gfy so it would only be business there. You have to figure since the height, the industry has shrunk probably 75 percent. That's a whole lot less people chatting on a board about anything. I remember Crockett from before,so he didnt just pop up.
It shocks me that companies still put ads here, it must just be habit because I cant see the ROI on them being worth it. Yes but the Adult Industry has consolidated (or shrunk, depending on your viewpoint) so I am guessing there isn't enough money in keeping this place a 100% business community.

As with most things in life it comes down to the m-o-n-e-y. The owners/operaters of GFY obviously feel keeping things the way they are is the most profitable for them in terms of traffic, revenue, etc. I don't see any other "Industry boards" taking advantage of the opportunity to fill the void. This tells me NO board is flourishing in today's climate so the owners must do what they have to to stay in business.
