A wall would not deter entrance into the nation, it would just change how they get in. boats, planes, tunnels are all things that happen already so spending a potentially harmful amount of money on something that wouldn't be more than a symbol wouldn't make sense. They would go home to Mexico or whatever country they came from if they could? I don't doubt that at all. Many of them are here simply because they don't have any opportunity in their home country so they send money back to their families. Yep. We should be working on helping these countries become less shitty. It would lessen illegal immigration and potentially slow outsourcing in the process.
